It is mildly tempting to buy the PS3 version to have the same game on two platforms. Although i am not sure why as it makes no sense

I think if you can install the PC version over steam and then flog the PS3 version that would be cool 
Source is a Pc engine, its optimised to an inch of its life on PC. Even a utter cr*p slow card butcher console performance in source, i mean really slow. * +
