Ok i have had my live account for years and it was set up using my bt email address, i tried chaging my email address to a windows live email so i could have my profile on my winmo 7 phone but wont let me change it, any ideas? * +

i think u need 2 go to xbox.com 2 do it as i have change my mail addy once aswell * +

On xbox.com, went to My xbox. accounts, chaqnge password then on windows live ID change, then it says use your own email address or windows live address, i put my hotmail.co.uk email in and it says its unavailable??? * +

are u looged in to hotmail on ur pc atm if not try that n go back into xbox.com n try * +

try 2 be looged into hotmail and go into xbox.com 2 see if u can change it then, had a issue aswell i got a new live addy sumtime back but i think that was how i fixed it as it would let me do it aswell * +
