I wonder what incentives Sony will give to developers/publishers to use this feature in new games. PSN plus is quite cr*p and not many people have it, so why bother coding this into your new game. * +

There is more to it. The real plan here is to have you save a game in the cloud, kick out your PSP2 and continue that game on the road. * +

You do realize MS does something like this yeah? They do it with WP7 games which can also be played on the 360, it works both ways. *
