Its a strong theory to an alternate timeline. But they were clever not to base the game round our time period. Instead its set 200 years later. Whe bombs dropped round 2086 and religiously sticks to certain points in history. Like the washington monument or white house. * +

The story goes like this, fallout is based on the american 1950s ideal of men in suits, gee mister children and stepford wives style women. That sorta . Rock n roll and late 40s music.
