a developer of yellow dog has stated he has heard from a reputable source within sony that the otheros feature will be completely removed from all PS3's in an upcoming firmware update. Gotta feel a mite sorry for those folk who forked out on extra harddrives to utilize the feature and are now forced to either upgrade and lose linux, or buy a new PS3 and keep the old one for that purpose. and is... * +

wouldnt be the first time or the millionth for that matter sony have reneged on a promise. Seems Geohot has Sony bent over backwards, with the floodgates soon about to open on the pirated games market on PS3 * +
