they were a thing on desktops. i had one also. dont know if it works anymore tho. have not used discs in 10 years. A upgradable desktop will always be the way to go for gaming. Modding games is fun and looks awesome. Laptop cpus and gpus are weak.Its a marketing scam. a laptop rtx 4090 is not even the same chip and has far less vram. * +
