[Remastered] Aka GTA III, Vice City + San Andreas reported to be heading to Nintendo Switch and modern consoles.
Mix of old and new graphics. One report saying that it will be heavily modded - more suited to current generation of gamers.

It said it looked like a heavily modded gta. Will run on unreal engine instead of the good old renderware. Hopefully it will make the old sluggish gunplay a bit more modern. Rockstar Dundee is working on it. Was also rumored that if this goes well then red dead 1 will be next. * +

There's fundamentally two different mission prerogatives between 3D Era GTA (III, SA, VC) and the HD Era (IV + V)..
3D Era you can do whatever you want within missions and still pass them..
HD Era you need to stick to mission objectives.
This will sell immensely well.

(My Xbox 360 copies of GTA IV, Episodes from Liberty City and San Andreas (360 HD 'Remaster').. are sitting at the bottom of a huge pile, and there's no way I'm rearranging that!)
