I missed this back then. As those things were banned here.

Who here owned one? Or knew of someone who did?

Also explained is the IR laser aiming gun.
The laser of the gun detects light sources emitted from the CRT display, as input, which the console processes, and affects gameplay as output. Well, that was the NES way such as in Duck Hunt.
I always wondered how that actually worked.
