confession: i have not played a new GTA game since san andreas. i do own 4 and 5, just haven't played them. 3 on xbox was my favorite, probably still is. * +

Gta 4 is one of the best in the series. The physics in the game are better than in 5. Also the dark theme of it makes it different from the others. * +

Have you not tried vice city stories or liberty city stories? There good if you liked the original games. Rockstar skipped vice stories on android for some odd reason. * +

Yes, but I hate the yellow lighting of the game. and it's kinda depressing too. Gta 5 is light hearted and never takes itself too seriously. * +
