It's 280 pounds for the console alone or about 330 with a game so way more expensive than a PS4 or Xbox One bundle and nigh on the cost of a PS4 Pro with a game. Nintendo love to make sure their new consoles bomb from day one.

Then there is the cost of peripherals.....If it were 250 bundled I would say it had a chance of mild success. Nope. * +

Once Nintendo announced a portable game player that still takes cartridges yet can be used as a console I was intrigued, but that ended when they announced the price. It would be much cheaper to download an emulator and some Roms for what I would use the Switch for. * +
