Dont think we will ever get brand new consoles just updated every 3 years and that's a good thing . X86 scales very well so it makes perfect sense it's just like updating your graphics card but instead of every 18 months it's 3 years . Can only be good for us gamers . * +

They are just medium hardware updates. Don't expect some amazing massive leap we get between generations. If devs try to push too much resolution, it'll quickly sw*llow all the extra processing power as they aren't 8x faster like most every generation leap has been, and more. *
