Mad max looks like a game that would have atleast made abit of money and possibly becoming a new IP, i wonder why the developers decided to go against MGS 5? It does not seem like a good business strategy to release the game the same date as MGS5. Did they think they gonna win? * +

They are releasing it now because they want to be able to ride the franchise hype from the movie. The dvd/blu-ray releases Tuesday and so they are banking on the movie doing the marketing and advertising for them and draw people to the game.
I've been watching some gameplay and honestly in my opinion it's just a mix of Rage/red faction/borderlands/just cause and a few other games. Nothing really original about it. I won't be buying it right away but might pick it up when the price inevitably falls. * +

The mad max movie remake was s**te i walked out the cinema after 40 mins. Don't have much hope for the game * +

I saw a bit of it in Sheffield when I walked into the wrong screen and decided to watch it for 20 minutes cos I was early for my movie in the one next door

Has there ever been a decent video game that came from a movie?
Let's not get started on video games turned into movies, they turned Doom into just another friggin zombie virus movie.

Of course there has been a few that have been very good. Goldeneye, Ridd*ck etc It's just that most of them are terrible cash ins so over decades of it they represent a tiny percentage * +
