On console or PC, which ones do you think of?
I always think of Half Life 2 (daydream) Rockstar's Euphoria physics are nice as well.
What else is there that is impressive? The way things move and interact with other objects I mean. * +

The last three Batman games. PhysX by Nvidia can be quite good, just not when it makes water look like jelly (Borderlands 2 for example). The smoke and stuff in Batman looks awesome. * +

The HL2 game uses the HAVOK physics engine is is an Irish company, VALVe does not own it. HAVOK is okay, but by no means perfect. But what I have seen from Euphoria physics engine, it has a lot of the same glitches as HAVOK does. * +

cheers for the replies, they are a premium in this forum, even though I recognise you both from general, that must be why you're sociable (lol)
I didn't realise HL2 physics were havok, I just knew it was the source engine, that's interesting that havok has the potential to be so realistic, I know they can be hit and miss as practically every game uses havok and some are much better than others in this regard.
I love Arkham City/Asylum, didn't particularly notice the physics, more so the impressive visuals, didn't know it was physx, I've heard good things about that. Cheers for the info (cheers) * +

That's the Havok Physics Engine too. In fact, if the game runs on the Source Game Engine by VALVe, it uses the Havok Physics Engine. * +
