Google it, there are loads of rx 480 not booting because of power supply.

RX 480 has proven to be a bit of a turd though. I mean it's a good card in terms of performance but again loads of niggles. Nvidia FTW * +

There's a switch on the card, switched it one way and it's 56 on idle and switched the other way it's 35 on idle, going to have to experiment to see if it's any faster but worried it will get too hot.
Great card and very quiet, tried it on Doom and The Witcher and was h*tting above 60 fps in high settings, bit lower in ultra. * +

That's cool though, glad it was only the PSU and you got everything working again. Witcher 3 on ultra is pretty demanding I know but never tried doom yet.
I'm waiting till fall and then I'll upgrade from my 770ftw to 1080ftw, already noticed price is back down to almost normal levels but still sold out in lots of places here, figure by then there should be plenty will be in stock. Maybe itll even come with a free game like my 770 did. * +
