Finally some good news, the family program as it's known allows everybody to share their XB1 games with upto 10 other family members. Doesn't matter if they live in the same house, town or even country. (or are even a blood relative or not). Those nominated on your friends list have access to your entire game library which can be downloaded freely onto their console. The only limitation is not being able to play the same title at the same time as each other. * +

its a carrot on a stick no doubt, as the focus going forward will heavilly be on multiplayer, but it's a reasonable solution to the used games problem nevertheless. If one person buys the game, finishes it, they can pass on permission to the next family member and so on. Soon enough our friends will be able to donate games they have completed to us, what's not to like? * +

you can play this game, just not anytime I am. So set your alarm for about 2am then and obviously not weekends or evenings. Doiiii! Interviewer: So what if my friends and family wanna play the game same time I am? Microsoft: well they can find a new job, change shifts maybe, or just live on the dole so they have weekdays to play instead. * +

it's unlikely to work like that, from my reckoning you can only donate a game once per month, so it would take 10 months to go through your friends. MS will be banking on people not being willing to wait that long. Common sense dictates this could have profound effects on the industry as a whole, with people willing to buy games they wouldn't normally purchase, in return for ones they would. * +
