Erm and that's ALL the PS4 has, 8GB GDDR5, no DDR3. GDDR is good for bandwidth, but it's not as quick as DDR3. I have 16GB DDR3 and 2GB GDDR5 in my PC and that's a lot better than either console. * +

The band is so d*mn big you really dont have to worry about the clock. And grats for having a shedload of RAM. Although that lot must add up to a few quid.. plus the MB youd need to handle all that, plus I guess you paid a decent whack for a CPU that can use the RAM? And possibly put it together yourself? and bought a GFX card. And then had to cool it? and put a blu ray in there? just sayin * +

What are you babbling on about? There is nothing revolutionary about the PS4's 8GB GDDR5. This: ''yeah cos everyone has 8 gb gddr5 in their pc'' is just nonsense.. Point being you don't need 8GB of GDDR5 in your PC to equal the performance of the PS4. * +

Pretty sure I read the other day a developer said they are having trouble using up 5GB of RAM on their game. (I think 5GB is what is reserved or recommended to be used by game developers for games, the rest for the OS and other stuff) * +
