oops i was wrong about elvis...From the late-1940s (for whatever reason the Transistor isn't built) until 2077 the Earth of Fallout (especially America) is caught in a 1950s cultural stasis, with robots, atomic powered cars, radioactive preserved TV dinners, and monochrome TVs that still show The Honeymooner's 110 years after the show was cancelled. well into the 21st Century, and there is still Jim Crow in most parts of the USA (imagine Mr. Handy's or Protect-o-trons enforcing it ). America still remained in that Stepford Suburbia mindset, so much of the BosWash corridor and most American cities in general looks more like Leave it to Beaver than OTL. * +
