I have been keeping up with the game industry for months now, and it has com to my attention that the Xbox 720 is a more ambitious system than the PS4. Sony is still going for raw power, but when has the most powerful console won the war? Never. Microsoft is creating a system that will work as a game machine and a computer. It has 8GB of RAM, 3 of which is reserved for the OS, this means quite a lot of multi-tasking with different apps. * +

Thats all you really need if you make it compact enough. Xbox 360's OS, everything, is in 32mb. The recent specs suggest Sony's machine would be faster for games. Better GPU. It all should just be taken with a pinch of salt right now * +

Remeber the 720 will use EDERAM along with DDR3, so the performace against PS4 GDDR5 should be identical. * +
