I just got an annoying lecture from someone about how I'm childish just because I play video games and watch anime a lot....I hav a girlfriend and live life peacefully n peeps think that just isn't man enough.....plz I really want u guys view about this...its kind of disturbing * +

It's a form of entertainment, just like watching a film or TV, I hate the people who say it's a waste of time and money but think films aren't. Also you get more time for your money when playing most games. Video games are grossing more money than films now too. WoW has grossed more than 10 billion dollars, Black Ops 1.5 billion, Mario Kart Wii 1.4 and GTA4 1.35. Films aren't making that much. * +

And then what exactly is childish about playing games? I mean, if you advance however many hundreds of years to the point where we are hooking our brains up to some device, directly, to play a game that is so good it actually seems like real life, would that be considered childish too? I don't think so, everyone would want to play that. * +

Stuff them if they don't want to lead a life with Variety. Most of the population play games, mobile,pcs or consoles, got mates who arn't into gaming but have a console for the sole use of Fifa games and TBH films just give a path thruout the plot, games give you a choice of how the path takes place so better experience * +
