So in career mode, the new max potentials can be exceeded by players developing faster if they play more and have good games. Thus a list of the best players doesn't always identify who can be really great. Has anyone had any players that became beasts? As Man Utd Kagawa can reach 90+ within 3 seasons. I have an 87 Hernandez after 2 seasons and he only plays rotation. Angelo Henriquez looks like he will be great after 4-5 seasons. * +

Theres 2 defenders, one called Masi, another I.Mbaye. Mbaye is really versatile and he gains really fast, he can easily reach 90+. I know Piazon can also reach 92+ but it takes a long time. * +

Ter Stegen can reach 89+. El Sharawaay like FIFA 12 quickly gains and can make 90+. N.Welbeck can reach 89, Gabriel (brazilian CDM)can reach 88+. * +

I like bringing youth team players through. I only usually sign up the best to concentrate game time for them. Just got a 16 year old LW with 87-94 potential and he starts on 69! Also an RB with 84-94 potential who starts on 66 at 16 years old. Think they will both be fantastic in a few seasons. Bet the LW will be 80+ before he is 19 * +

I found with United Ferdinand's stats crumble extremely quickly to 80/81. So you may as well just sell him and play Jones. Phil Jones can play RB/CB and is 83 after 2 seasons for me. I think he can at least reach 86 which isn't bad. I ended up selling Cleverley but regret it now because although some said 85 was his limit if he plays he could probably gain even more. I didn't expect Kagawa to get above 86 let alone 90! * +

If only I'd seen this topic back then! Load up fifa 13 and search for lecointe. He's young English player in the lower league. Got him to 88ish. That game was ridiculously easy to smash players to high levels. I bred a pure English team for ten seasons in career mode. Welbeck forced a move when he got to high 80s also Wilshire did too. Even got players like Nick Powell to mid 80s. Ended up as the English manager with my own club team. Totally agree with you on Ferdinand he was a spent force after two years! Ahh good times! They changed everything on 14 just couldn't replicate that again. * +
