Make no mistake: EVE Online is serious business and there's real money that can be lost when a ship gets blown to pieces. that makes them incredibly valuable. The total value of these blueprints added up to more than thirty years' worth of EVE Online gaming time (PLEX), or 6,422 (dollars) in real currency. And, needless to say, his small frigate, going through hostile space, was blown out of the sky, destroying all the blueprints and copies with them. Apparently the plan was to outrun anybody who might decide his tiny frigate made a tempting target. * +
