I agree the trailer for the first was misleading but it didn't make it a bad game. Dead island is the borderlands of zombie games. Massive open world setting, tons of enemies and loads of weapons. Hopefully riptide will have a better story. First was ok but it felt like a melee versions of left4dead. Would like to see better side missions, deeper story progression and more creative weapon choice, the first was great, wanna see them expand on it * +

what I hate heard is the 4 characters from the first are in it and are all infected, they will be the ones responsible for the new outbreak. there will be a fifth playable character too. guns will be available from the first area and there will be survival elements like fortifying your church defenses. also heard the co op levelling system will be axed so anyone can jump in to a game at anytime and will meet their partners halfway. oh and it picks up immediately after the first one ends, * +
