I heard they were just adjusting the trailer. the trailer gave the impression that you can only go in guns blazing and they felt that it would diminish the genre. there's actually multiple ways to do the level but considering the game is and always has been focused more on stealth, the trailer sent out the wrong impression * +

The multiplayer idea is fantastic. It takes the Dante's inferno idea and let's you create missions. You can choose any level and add upto any 3 people as marks. Then you upload the challenge to friends and they complete it in any way possible using any weapons or disguises. The way they complete it determines the overall score. * +
