if I remember she used a nanomachine suppressor to stop the nanomachines that keep her alive. she chose to die because she was no longer needed to find a cure for foxdie. the samew nanomachine suppressors wher used to suppress vamps nanomachines that also kept him alive as he was actualy dead when raided shot him in the head in mgs2 * +
