No, snakes aging was caused from being a clone, foxdie was implanted in snake by Naomi to kill foxhound members in shadow Moses. Naomi resented snake and wanted him to die because snake killed gray fox (naomi's) adoptive brother. Gray fox actualy slaughterd naomis family and took Naomi as a child.

actually naomi hated snake cos she thought he killed her parents, she knew him before gray fox died. but snake never told her it was gray fox cos he knew she thought of him as her brother so he took the blame. * +
