don't know whether this is big outside of America, I've certainly not heard of The Flash or plain Flash before watching big bang theory..
but it's another superhero show taken from comic book origins. it tells the story of Barry our typical nerdish youngster with personal tragedy and injustice in his past who becomes the recipient of fantastic abilities yada yada. a couple of well known actors are included so I'll see where it goes...

this show seems pitched for a younger audience than the new Gotham show and I think comes from the same network that brought us the 100.
it does have a tie-in in the first episode with arrow which I thought might interest fans of that show.. * +
