Seems this is Frank Miller's year in the sense that the sequels to two very successful movies that were adapted from his comics are to be released this year i.e., 300 and Sin City, with 300's sequel already released starring Eva Green. She also stars in this Sin City's sequel along with Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rouke, Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lady Gaga, among others.
It's directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller himself and it's set to be released on August 22, 2014 worldwide.

As a fan of the comic books from the '90's and the 1st film l'm curious as to what Rodriguez and Miller are going to do with this. In the 1st film they took 3 of the 5 major stories and 1 of the 11 minor ones, not counting family values which is a minor major if that makes sense. Is their enough material for them to use? And if not, will Miller be releasing new material 14 years after he last wrote anything for Sin City? *
