I would have watched it a long time ago but I initially thought this movie would be another formulaic nonsense like the transformers series. Guess I was wrong, I really liked it, especially the scene where the Kaiju took the robot to space and the pilots deployed the sword and cut the Kaiju in to half, that's a classic scene any Mecha anime fan would appreciate. I'm giving this movie 4 out of 5. * +

Was fking terrible... The plot was s**t and the acting was horrendous.....and what the actual fk was going on with Ron Pearlman?? Shame on anyone involved in this film * +

Great film I thought but it's getting more increasingly annoying with Hollywood trying to ram manmade global warming message down with every film they seem to make these days * +

I think Ron was hired on before hunman being pals with Del Toro and all, and then suggested his soa buddy for the lead.. then again it feels like his part was just invented to slot him in somewhere (pearlman). I'd love to know who turned this movie down actors wise. not that that would have saved it.. * +

Yeah they made out the 1st wave came against the dinosaurs but the air was too clean for them to live in, so they waited till man polluted it enough to form a 2nd attack * +
