So it's nearly the end of the year so what films have really stood out for you
I'm not so sure,a lot of films I've kind of forgotten about.
Gravity for effects, definitely the most amazing cgi effects I've seen and good story and acting

I can't remember many films this year that impressed me. with you on gravity, then I go blank and make erm and um noises... * +

Man of Steel I liked, was surprised
Thought I'd hate it
The other super hero films were kind of ner......for me anyway
Not seen Thor yet, Iron Man lacked even more what the second one lacked.
I think 12 years a slave might be good but that's it really.....can't remember any more

The Desolation of Smaug was good, seemed like part of a better film with the best part saved for later * +

Despicable Me 2 I loved and The Croods made me laugh.

you seemed to really like ''the butler'' the other day... the first half of man of steel was ok, then it got loud, boring and sloppy for me. * +

Now you see me is the most impressive movie of 2013 IMO, the rest are either too formulaic or uninteresting for me. * +

kaiblade 29.12.13 - 06:05am
Don't get me wrong, some of the formulaic ones are ok, some are even quite good, but none of them stood out. * +

Oh yeah The Butler is good, some of it a bit hard to watch. Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey give great performances.
