Comic book readers. After reading The Amazing Spider-Man 700 then started collecting the Superior Spiderman, I am intrigued to read your views on what Dan Slott has done to our webbed hero. What do you make of all of this? * +

The whole Otto mind meld thing? I think it's a way to test the fans, to see if they'd enjoy a Spiderman with more of an edge. * +

just read up on this, so it seems parker is dead and otto ottavious implanted his mind in spiderman's body and now wants to strive to be a better spiderman then parker ever was and a better man then Otto was. so he uses his position as scientist to enhance spiderman's abilities. whilst Otto appears to be reformed, he seems to be more brutal with enemies, nearly killing them in the process but somehow Peter's subconscious is trapped in Otto's mind and he occasionally reaches out to him, screa * +

exactly phal.....Slott has left a massive get out clause in this creation by allowing parker to stay an active presence and by having the avengers sense that spiderman is not what he appears. can't see this lasting....Peter parker will be back before long freshly equipped with all the upgrades that Otto built * +
