Holy sheeeeet!! I'm so fking excited about this. Not too sure bout the plot but it is entirely set in Norfolk and may center around Alan's comeback from local radio only to have his plans thwarted by terrorists. Not really sure about that. The film stars Sean Pertwee which is a big plus but also has Victoria beckham which to me is a huge mistake. * +

one scene involves him involved in a stand off shooting in the pier. in my personal experience as a AP fan, this film needs the followin.....it should be more like 'I'm Alan partridge'. This is by far the most hilarious part of his career. Series 2 especially as he appears older and think's he is wiser * +

Lyn benfield (Alan's PA) should have a part in this, she really complicated his character. Michael(Alan's petrol station friend) would be a great addition, if only for selected scenes and finally his Ukrainian girlfriend would be good in this * +

it shouldn't try to be something its not. look at the bottom movie....funny but felt wrong. south park film-ok but a bit ott. the Simpson's movie-cr*p. Alan partridge is one of those rare concepts where the man makes the show. take his recent work 'mid morning matters' the majority is just him on the radio and it works so incredibly well. I just hope they don't turn him into someone he's not * +

Could not agree more....felt the series ended prematurely. I bought mid morning matters the other day and I'm enjoying that, I'm missing the laughter track though, I really felt it made his series funnier as it was real laughter and not canned. * +
