Having been a fan of South Korean cinema for quite a while and being able to watch this movie over 3 times now, I'm surprised to see how no thread was posted about this film. It's one of the most powerful movies ever made to this date with a bizarre and epic ending most of Hollywood can only dream of creating. Fantastic plot with some ultra-violent brutal scenes, regardless of the fact whether you are an Asian movie fan or not, this is a must-see * +

it's an interesting film, but quite far from being one of the most powerful films ever made. * +

That would be my own opinion, but still the main concept of the movie is what is truly powerful (won't spoil it here for those who have not seen it yet) btw have you seen memories of murder? * +

Loved this film. Its one of my favourite films of all time. The s**t remake with Samuel Jackson was laughable. Oldboy left me conflicted too. It was powerful. * +

It's part of a vengeance trilogy but three seperate films using mainly same characters and same director for all three. Film one was sympathy for mr vengeance. Film two Oldboy. Film three sympathy for lady vengeance. Good film, other good Korean films are man from nowhere and brotherhood of war. * +
