Probably the best film of the year about some American Embassy staff were taken hostage in Iraq and a few escaped to stay at the Canadian embassy. A plot was thought up to make up a film called argo so that they could be rescued by posing as a film crew for the movie. As the soldiers start to find out there are missing staff they are put in more and more danger. Well acted film and surprising that it was directed by Ben Affleck. Should win an Oscar or two. * +

Looper was good, not sure why there was also people with telepathy in the future that was never explained so it wasn't really nessesary to have it and left a plot hole. Apart from that was great. Thought Avengers was great too * +

No oscar nomination for best director though at the Oscars but still has a shot at best film. Lots of good contenders this year. *
