holy grail-one of the most influential films of all times. not as shocking as life of Brian, holy grail is a retelling of king Arthur and his knights of Camelot, dark, gritty and down right funny, the scene with the killer fluffy rabbit is excellent, so many parts stand out that I can only urge you find this film and watch it immediately * +

I may as well round things off with Monty python's third and final film-the meaning of life, this is the lesser of the three but still great. played out partly as a documentary with a narrative, meaning of life starts with birth and ends with death, from the live organ removal scene to the exploding fat man, heaven is played out as a massive restaurant with live musical numbers and then there's the scene involving the man who chose his own death-to be chased off a cliff by topless women lol, * +
