its a bit of trend in shows of recent that they're able to set up an intriguing plotline that has you wondering which way things could go from here. only in the end for the writers to have back themselves into a corner, from where they're unable to match the suspense and drama in the ending they come up with. x-files being a case in point. * +

I think it went on a couple of seasons longer than it should have, but it its prime it was a fantastic show. The first film during the series was good, but the second one after the series finished wasn't worth it. * +

it got s**t when mulder went bye bye and that terminator 2 bloke took over. I liked the virtual reality one and an episode where they had some guy on death row it was one of the early episodes and it was gripping stuff at the time. * +

Yeah! i forgot he appeared in it! too late for the series to come back? films? * +

I think the death row one was 'The List' from series 3, and the virtual reality one was either 'Kill Switch' from series 5 or 'First Person Shooter' from series 7. Definitely too late for the series to come back, but I can see another film being made to conclude the whole thing properly. Surprised they've not tried to make one for this year as 2012 was the year of the final alien colonisation apparently. * +
