Made in 1926 and then again in 1927, hard to believe its over 85 years old, off course their are older films nosferatu 1922 and birth of a nation 1915 but films like these simply cant be beating? * +

Metropolis is an absolute classic.. one of my favourites. It seemed so far ahead of its time. I heard a brilliant radio play of it too, quite illuminating.. It's a very interesting story when you understand the intricacies. * +
