Wanted to watch this for a while then i got a 'copy'. When scientists develop a cure for diseases of the brain, one ape infected with the strain is killed but not before bearing an infant. When a scientist is ordered to kill the remaining apes, they find that the baby ape was carrying the strain which turns apes intelligent and potentially hostile * +

A slow start but quickly picks up with some interesting and funny moments. One can almost mistake it for a prison movie in some parts as the apes plot to bust out. Its cleverly done and well thought out and almost make's you forget the appalling remake some years back. It's exactly what i was expecting 8.5/10 * +
