its hollywood, if they have a film concept that makes money they want to try and repeat the success and thus make more money. studio heads are business men not artists. since spiderman an the hulk every comic book has been raided. plus hollywood is just completely out of ideas hence all these prequels n sequels to successful franchises. that they even call em that tells u alot. * +
