the film i am looking for was made before 85. very vague detail but it involved a group of prisoners kept underground. basically, the would be hero gets very upset when his missus's tongue gets cut out by a big bald man. when he escapes he catches the guy sharpening his knife spinning stone thing and pushes his head into it. other main scene involves the main guy being nailed to a cross in front of an underground pool. which i think a big beast inhabits. he does get off the cross by physically *
