the movie was all fake. none of what you saw in the movie really happend. look it up on the net. oh and theres 3 different endings to it. i saw the 1 where she gets shot by the cops. * +

..one is just a plain old movie theatrics..the other is a cheap copy..after numerous replays and assessment of excessive video footage i've come to this conclusion..paranormal activity was intended to be a movie based on paranormal reports and paranormal entity was created to capitalize on the 1st installments acclaim success.. * +

Its all totally fake, at the end of the film if you pause the disc on the tiny writing right at the end and zoom in on it it says all characters and events are ficticious *
