Question: how on earth did avatar make so much at the box office despite the economic slump? It seems that only his movies are the ones to break box office records. Conspiracy. But hey, hes not a bad film maker. Anyway, my favs are: terminator salvation, star trek and inglorious basterds. Im a tarantino fan. * +

Because,during times of economic slump and depression people get bored.they're out of work so the two things that increase are weight and entertainment needs.hence the cinema. * +

I cant say I was impressed as much with last years films as with previous years but the films I enjoyed most were Watchmen..Star Trek..Inglorius Basterds and Moon. I havent got round to watching District 9 yet but I am looking forward to it. *
