They died as you saw them. Boon fell out of a tree Shannon shot Charlie drowned etc. The ones who escaped at the end would have died at some point in the future. * +

Remember hurleys conversation with ben outside the church. 'You were a great number 2 ben' and then ben said 'you were a great number 1'. All of it happened. Ben and hurley died several years later. But because purgatory was timeless it made no difference. *
