berserk? Lol. That anime doesnt end , the last ep ends with what usually is a midstory turning point or just as the anime starts. Lol, they basically kill off all the characters and r*pe the main characters love interest. Lol. The ride up till there is pretty good tho. Lol. * +

It's far from basic and would depend on what version you decided on, but yeah some gory stuff happens. It's nothing compared to something like Kite, which is pretty mainstream. * +
