original battlestar was bland and cheesy i enjoyed it when i was young,new battlestar was fantastic. Start of season 4 actually made me shout what the fk,and the new trek movie?Brilliant had a major tingle with the hobgoblin moment too * +

i wasnt sure what to make of the new one after having so many fond memories of the original but once i let go of that i really enjoyed it * +

Its good wildhart but the original was more epic and less allegory. The characters are deeper in the new one but at times the plots become contrived which stands in sharp relief to the realism they try to convey. Lorne Green was great in TOS. Starbuck should be a man. Overall the new one is the better show but it could have been better. * +
