I have loved The Taking Of Pelham 123 since i was a child. Such a smart, funny and intense movie with my favourite walter matthau performance. Why did they remake it?! I have been wrestling with myself for months about whether or not to see it as i loved Crimson Tide, Man On Fire and Deja Vu.. the previous Tony Scott and Denzel Washington collaborations..but i dont want to see a melodramatic * +

clone of the original. I probably will see it eventually because of Washington and Scott but it didnt need to be made. The 1974 film was perfect IMO. *
