Cant believe this hasnt been discussed on here yet, but Futurama has come back from the dead. 26 new episodes to be spread over two seasons have been commissioned. Surely the greatest news ever right? Now for the bad news, Fox are threatening to recast the show, stating the salary demands of the original voice actors are too high and cannot be afforded by the reduced budget of the show. * +

There are people who feel it could just be a publicity stunt, or a scare tactic by Fox to get the actors to agree to lower their salaries, but right now they seem to be going ahead with one of the most stupid decisions they've made since they originally cancelled the show. I just cant see it being the same without the original voice actors. Its a worrying time right now having to wait and see. * +

That's excellent news!I loved the show.Or love it,whichever works.As for re-casting the voice actors,very stupid idea.American TV networks suck,no other way to put it.If they don't see profit immediately,they cancel shows.Completely daft * +
