The ending was very convincing. Watch the movie as if you were the director filmin clints 'last' movie. He would never go out like dat in a movie... Unless its his 'last'. It was symbolic. He wrote the movie and the song he sang in it, he was tellin us, 'this is it' * +

he wasn't playing clint eastwood in the film, he was playing a korean war veteran. The ending may have been symbolic to the actor but it took the shine off what was a good movie. The ending was just bad. *
