@ross, i know there's no best actor, this topic is just 4 arguments sake 4 fun. Call depps performance cr*p, but you must remember that noone can recreate jack sparrow nor ever will. Heath hasn't won it yet, there is no 100 guarantee he will win it. And say 4 instance he didn't win, would that make him less of a good actor? Your reasonin is flawed. * +

Can we all just get over the 'Jack Sparrow' thing already? So friggin' what if he can camp it up as a pirate? That doesn't make him the be all and end all of acting. By that rationale, then Nathan Lane is a freakin' genius actor and so is Robin Williams. Get with it. * +

The chances of Ledger winning 'best actor' are pretty slim. He's not likely even to be nominated in that category! At a long shot, 'best supporting actor' is what he MIGHT win, but again, he was over-hyped. * +
