I have a vodafone live branded w850i what would happen if i delete the vodafone themes would that get me the original se icons for my menu- and would i need special software to delete the restricted themes or could i just do it with my cable? * +

To debrand use Wotanserver or Divinci, to mod use FarManager or PhoneXS++, diezi1 shud be able to help u with that * +

FAR Manager isint compatible with w850 only db2010, w850 is db2020 
XS++ might be if your CID49, and yup the cheapest debrand is wotanserver.com for 6 euro's i think, devinciteam.com is 10 euro's... PS there no easy way to mod w850 unless your CID49 if its 51/52 it gets complicated :( * +
