its a full reinstall of software, it costs about as much as an unlock, you'll be able to get it done at any shop that unlocks * +

50 quid... you got DONE... and it depends how its been unlocked, if they'v just flashed an unlock patch in then a simple updating via SEUS will relock it, but if they'v done it properly which the ing should have for 50 QUID and reset the GDSF locks then it wont make a difference to the phone lock. * +

Am confused lol. Was 50quid because s.e put a block on the w850i being unlocked + only this 1 man round me new how to cheat it so he tested it on my phone + it worked. Only prob is it keeps turnin itself off + on + them two folderz kp sayin operation failed. * +

Man take it back he's messed it up lol... get him to run it through devinciteam.com or SETool2/3 depending on the CID but im guessing its CID52 if nobody else could do it, but DT have an EMMA Card so they have full access to all current CID's and they do proper unlocks and flashes, no half job's when DT is concerned, well the do have darkman working for them (he's the creator of SEFP Pluggin). * +

only use DT with CID52 and SETool2 with 49/51, hense i think its 52 as most shops can do 49/51 as SETool2 is the stock SE kit, but about him trying out this new method... he's full of demand he fixes it for free... * +

PS... if its the games and applications folders that give the errors thats not related to unlocking unless he's patched the MAIN... this can be tested by updated via the Sony Ericsson website, if its locked when its had an update he's patched it, but the problem with that is it will update you to a CID52 if your not already running it, and 52 its a repairman's worst nightmare 
so its not recommended. * +
